Cornhole For A Cure 2010

May 12

Have you heard of The N.O.R. Foundation?

It’s a group of  Triangle friends who joined together after the loss of one of their dear friends to kidney cancer in 2009.

N.O.R. stands for neighbors offering relief, and that’s what they do … offer relief by setting up cornhole tournament fundraisers.

Their second annual event was held this year at The Preserve at Jordan Lake in Chapel Hill and raised money for lupus, a disease that has not seen a new drug since the 1950s.

Approximately 150 people attended the day-long event and helped raise over $10,000.

Here are some of my images from Cornhole For A Cure 2010. Visit The N.O.R. Foundation for more information about starting a Triangle fundraiser at www.ncnor.org.
