#snOMG in North Carolina

All week, we’ve heard on the news, “It’s going to snow, it’s going to snow.”  The weather forecasters were right on target this time.  Snow started falling Friday night around 7 in North Raleigh and within a few hours, blanketed the tops of outdoor tables, cars and trees.  Still none was sticking to the roads, as if an invisible force-field redirected it to the grass.

By 8 a.m. that was a different story.  The white stuff covered the black asphalt like an oversized, down comforter.  Exctitement stirred inside me like a little kid. I couldn’t wait to get outside to take pictures in the snow.
